Congratulations to three of our players for their success at the South Australian International Open 2013.

Ethan Hunter had two fights that he won in his division by using a counter O Soto-Gari for Ippon.

Jamie Robertson fought in the Under 73kg class, winning one Bronze medal in his division. Jamie took on a black belt on his first fight and defeated him with Ko Uchi Sutemi. He lost his second fight after having to tap out to an arm bar but won his third fight with a left handed Morote Seo Nage.

James Pacini also fought in the Under 73kg class, having two fights, and was the only green belt in that division. James fought in the opens and won Bronze with a counter Tani-Otoshi and was awarded Ippon.
